Panmixia: Autosomal Case

To start this module, select Panmixia and Assortative Matings on the main menu and then click on Autosomal

A window similar to the figure below will be displayed. WinPop uses triangular coordinates to represent population points. Enter the frequency values of P(AA) and P(Aa) on the text boxes and click OK.

The population point representing the frequencies entered will be represented inside the triangle, and the subsequent generation, at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium will be plotted too.

On the left side the actual values of allele and genotype frequencies are presented. To save the picture just click on the Save Picture button. Clicking on the Save File button will save a text file with the frequency values and other information.
