Linkage Disequilibrium: 2 loci, 4 alleles - Quantifying

To start this module, select Linkage on the main menu and then click on Linkage: 2 loci, 4 alleles

A window like the one below will be displayed. In order to start the calculation you have to enter the observed frequency values of each haplotype in the sample you want to test. These values can be either absolute frequencies (actual number of haplotypes) or relative frequencies (decimal numbers). Click OK to start.

Calculation results of the text boxes are shown inside the Results frame. Expected frequencies (absolute and relative figures) along with Disequilibrium coefficient value and chi-square which shows if the sample studied is linkage disequilibrium or not.
