Panmixia: X-linked Case

To start this module, select Panmixia and Assortative Matings on the main menu and then click on X-linked

A window similar to the figure below will be displayed. Enter the frequency values of pf(A) (frequency of the allele A among females) and pm(A) (frequency of the allele A among males) on the text boxes and click OK to start the representation.

WinPop plots both p frequencies among females and males in a traditional cartesian graph. The maximum number of generations represented is 15, and pf is plotted in red and pm in blue. On the left bottom corner a graphic of delta p for each generation is shown. This small graph shows the difference between pf and pm and how it decreases until equilibrium, where pm = pf.
